Mobile ticketing

Overview

A customer browses the web site of a movie theater and makes an online reservation for a movie entering all necessary information including the mobile phone number. An appropriate Data Matrix code containing all the information about the movie will be sent to the mobile phone confirming the reservation. When the customer arrives at the movie theater, he simply has to show the coded ticket on his mobile phone to the Gavitec hardware scanner built into the ticket counter. Linked to the movie theater's database, the 2d code ticket is scanned, confirmed and access to the movie is granted or a paper ticket is printed.
